Estwing’s all Steel Construction GP100 Geo/Paleo Pick has a 25″ overall handle length, 14″ overall head length from pointed edge to chisel edge. Has a durable powder coated finish and a textured vinyl, cushion grip for added comfort.  The Estwing Geo Paleo Pick has a wide spade end for hoeing, and a pointed end for digging and prying in hard dirt or rock. A very handy tool specifically geared towards geology or paleontology.

After being out of production for several years, Estwing has started remaking this classic tool and it is better than ever. The GP100 handle has been redesigned, making the unit even stronger. The blade end is perfect for digging and the painted end is great for prying rocks or breaking up hard dirt. This tool includes a durable powder-coated finish and textured vinyl grip which reduces shock significantly.

The GP100 is well balanced, easy to swing, and light, making it a very efficient tool! The design of the tip is also very meticulous.
