The chisel-edged, Bricklayer's Hammers have bonded and molded Shock Reduction Grips®. Patented nylon end caps now make these hammers the most durable on the market. The head and handles are forged in one piece from the finest tool steel with a fully polished head that will give years of hard use. These tools have unsurpassed balance and are double-tempered for added strength. Three available head sizes: 16 oz., 20 oz. or 24 oz. and all of them are approximately 11" in length.

E3-16BLC
The Estwing E3-16BLC is a smaller, lighter version of the Estwing E3-20BLC. It is slightly shorter in the handle and has a 16-oz head. With this, you are going to have to swing a lot harder and with many more blows to break rock. The E3-16BLC is great to take on longer trips given its smaller size and the lighter weight also provides you with more control when you go to strike a sample. E3-20BLC
The E3-20BLC is the most popular chisel-edged rock hammer. Being a chisel edge, this type of hammer is best used with soft or sedimentary-derived rock since it can pry and split layers apart.
